Chad O'Connor

Chad O'Connor graduated with his degree in Culinary Arts from Pennsylvania Culinary Institute in 2004, and is now finishing his 2nd degree in Dietetics from Chandler-Gilbert College in Gilbert, AZ. He is an active member with the ADA and AZDA and is always searching for all things new and exciting in the food and nutrition world. He has always been very passionate about food.

"Cooking to me is a way to express who I am through my cuisine. Taking local, fresh ingredients and turning them into something truly delicious is something that has always been an exciting challenge for me." Three years ago Chad realized that nutrition and dietetics would be his true calling because he always knew which foods were so called "good" and which were "bad" for him, but wanted to know who, what, when, where, and why?

"Eating healthy is not s science. It is a very achievable goal as long as you know how to properly prepare healthy dishes so that they are still tasty and delicious. Don't be afraid of the kitchen. I know cooking from scratch can seem overwhelming, but I will share with you tips and tricks I have learned after working in a professional kitchen for over ten years. I will be presenting dishes in hopes to spike a desire for you to cook fresh, quality meals at home, for family, and friends. I will teach you the best way to prepare each dish to ensure they are as delicious and nutritious as possible. I will always be willing to answer any questions you might have and am looking forward to working with all of you in the future."
